Vision Board - creating a 10year plan

The most fun art therapeutic practice in a while

The video talks about my own process with my last one, and the making of the new one, but the WHOLE POINT is to encourage YOU to make your own.

You need:

Scissors

Paper glue stick

Old magazines (choose wisely - I invested about 50euros on English language magazines with landscapes and sharp words and images that drew me).

*mainly you need time and a big surface to arrange the cuts

The areas of particular interest you may wish to first journal about, to have an idea of what you wish to call in (though most of it surely comes from your subconscious as part of the finding images and words):

Relationships & community

Health

Wealth (finance and resources)

Career / Creative work

Personal skills & passions (challenges to self)

Home & environment / travel

Inner world / inspiration

** BE SPECIFIC! Find objects, money sums, words and images that strike an emotion in you.

** As you arrange your vision-collage - listening to inspiring lectures or a book was helpful for me, setting time apart to be in the zone, PLACEMENT MATTERS: Putting words and phrases together, combining images etc can hugely change the landscape. I make a draft of the whole before I glue.

P.s. it is hectic to fit so many ideas into one - but it’s good to have. A kind of visual poem for life and personal inspiration.

Best of luck!
